Drupal 7

Nothing currently. I don't plan on getting to it personally, but I can't speak for the other devs.
I plan on starting a month or two after D7 is released as I won't be converting my sites until after the dust settles and my favorite contrib modules are updated.

I was planning to soft-launch a new site after D7 is released, but this is a critical component. It would be a half a year or more before a proper launch, so I don't mind going from a D7 beta whenever it is available.

I've been criminally negligent here with a work crunch... but without a doubt this will be ported by your timeframe of 1 year. I'm embarrassed to say it like that, leaving such a wide window.

I have some vacation time coming soon. What needs to be done is I think is running "Coder" and "Coder Tough Love" against the codebase for D6 stuff, and upgrade to whatever functions which are required for D7 but still available in D6. Once the code's as ready as it can be in D6, then I think it's branch to D7 and fix all the remaining bugs. :-)

There's just 2 of us at the moment, and since early Spring it's been mostly John's effort. We could use another dev and that's allow some cool integration with other Drupal modules.

Some work has been done already. It's still a ways off though. D7 is quite a bit different with all of the hook changes, taxonomy changes, theme system changes, and DBTNG (database api) changes. I'd put it at 80% complete.

We really appreciate your efforts, not just us webmaster types, but our users who rely on us to produce the content they crave.

Can someone post a 7.0 alpha or pre-alpha development release with maybe a to-do list.
That might help get other developers to at least pitch-in.

I'll make a release when it is working a little better.
All current development is checked into the DRUPAL-7--1 branch in CVS though.
There is just no release associated with it.

Recipe-7.x-1.0-alpha1 release today.
Marking fixed so all issues relating to the new release get their own issues.
