We have a project that we need help from start to finish. We've done a lot pre-project work to make sure that this is a seamless process. We have a detailed scope doc, and a wireframe that is in progress.
Info about client: This is a national wildlife organization focused on a certain species of deer. They have groups across the country (at the state level, and sometimes several per state) that are given funds to complete projects centered around preserving this species of deer. Each group has a "group head" that is in charge of the group, and the members therein. The "group heads" come up with projects and submit them to headquarters for approval. Each project request includes all of the details of project, and also information about how it is going to be paid for. Each group holds a banquet 1-3 times per year to gather donations, and hold auctions to get money for their group to use on these projects. When the projects are requested they include information about what funds are going to be allocated from the group, and they either request funds from headquarters, or leave it open ended. Projects that are left open-ended will eventually get funded from either call-in or check donations from people just wanting to help where help is needed.
There are more specifics to the process then I am giving here, but that is the gist of their current system. Obviously, what they want to do is build a website to manage all of this: project requests, fund allocations, approval of projects, approval of funds, etc. I am experienced in Drupal, but need another group (or person) to take this on. For the most part, the funds are there to cover this project. We need to get going with this ASAP, so please send/post questions regarding the project.
