I would suggest that you don't use the class 'header' in your html output. This is a very commonly used class (E.g. a site's header) and as such I feel that there will be a lot of conflict amongst classes. A more module specific class would be more appropriate. I know this is a themable function but most people won't theme it.

The overall slideshow does now have a 'slideshow' class. That way, you can easily overwrite the class if you used it somewhere else.
