Greetings,

I've upgraded one of my sites from 4.7 to 5, and came across this while setting up the forum access module. It wont activate, because it says the ACL is missing.

The question is, are there any database(mysql) variables/records that I should clear or modify, that may be left over from the 4.7 install which would keep the new acl from being activated?

No, the new ACL module should be a dropin replacement for the 4.7 version from the na_arbitrator.

Be sure you have the new forum_access as well?

Go it!

I still had the folder na_arbitrator(from 4.7 install) in my modules folder. as soon as I deleted it, everything started working.
