Description

I tested this on two sites. When this module is installed (before adding the trusted hosts, i.e. youtube) there's a description under the Input Format section when composing a story: "You can use , and tags from the following sites to add media to your posts:". But when you add the trusted hosts, this message disappears AND there's no listing of the domains authors may use to embed videocontent. All that's left is an empty bullet.

Is there a work-around, or maybe a fix? Or maybe I did something wrong (although I doublechecked).

Also see the screenshot I added to this message.

I found the problem, it was my mistake. I just had to enter the help in the admin of the module. The confusing part was that when no sites were in the whitelist, it said "you can use....".

Anyway, it's fixed and I wanted to keep this thread clean.

Please suggest an improvement to the documentation to aid the next person. Thanks.

The string "Example: http://youtube.com" could be extended to:

"Example: http://youtube.com. If you don't add allowed hosts, you should remove this filter from a content type."

I think that will do the trick. I don't have the skills to put this in an update-file, I'm so sorry about that.

I won't be maintaining the 4.7 version any more. The instructions in the latest version are pretty clear but there is nothing in there by default. In the D6 port I am setting up the default in the install file, which should take care of the final issue.
