Postgres table create syntax error

On a new installation (multi-site, brand new installation of the ecommerce module), the auction module failes with a table create syntax error.

I think that this is a dependancy failure because when I reran it twice, it worked (i.e. on the third time). The first time there were a lot of failures due to ec_transaction not being created. Then when I reran the installation a second time, only the auction module gave a syntax error. Finally on the third run, the auction module installed as well.
