would be cool if we could see the total number of Tickets catched by the active filter.
Just displayed beneath or ahead of the list like "Filtered tickets: ###"

Good idea, but needs to be postponed until after these lists are moved to views (keeping things simple).

Feature so would go into 2.x and not be backported.
