When I use a WYSIWYG editor (tried both Wysiwyg/TinyMCE and Whizzywig) and whenever I preview the body field of a node, the body gets duplicated. So if the field contains one line, after previewing the field contains two. Previewing that makes it four lines.

Any ideas how to solve this?

EDIT: I later noticed that the problem is slightly different: the (automatically generated) teaser field gets inserted into the beginning of the body field after previewing. So there is still a problem!

Preview mode shows you both the "Teaser" view and the Full Node view. Is that what you're experiencing?

Actually, your post wasn't so bad. I notice now that it's not the body field that's duplicated. It's the (automatically generated) teaser that gets inserted into the beginning of the body field every time.

So there is still a big problem, but a different one. Any more ideas? Surely I can't be the first to experience this.

I think I'm having this exact same problem!! Although I don't have WYSIWYG installed... but I do have Nodewords installed....
