Hello.
So a couple months ago I decided to dive into Drupal and grind out a new version of my site, Sideshow, which I'd been running as a magazine for contemporary circus for about a year (on Joomla!). To be honest it was a struggle getting it together (I'm not a designer/builder and had to learn as I went along) and I think probably it's a mess in terms of standards compliance and good practice, but I'm pretty proud I got it working, at least, and particularly that there's a functioning OpenLayers map. Sometime next year I'll be working on developing it so that users can create an account and put themselves on the map, but for now I need a break...
The site uses OpenLayers of course, and OL+, MapBox, Date, Views, Custom Breadcrumbs (I love this one), Nodewords (made some slightly regrettable decisions about what to relate with Nodewords and what with taxonomy, but never mind), Pathauto, Token, Panels, and Views.
I want to redo the front page and some day -- some day! -- get scalepoints working on the map, but otherwise feel OK with it.
A big thanks to the Drupal community and all the module builders! It's an amazing, amazing CMS.
