currently I'm using Storm in the IT-Department of my company, which has become an extremly valuable tool for daily use.

Last week we had some communication workshops, and in future every department wants to use that cool tool.

so is it possible to create a new content-type "Department" which is bound to an organisation? Projects then could be bound to Organisation + Department.

I think this would be difficult. It isn't something that I foresee most users wanting, and so to introduce another layer of logic would a lot of work for the payback.

Perhaps it might work to create organizations for each department (MyOrg Marketing Dept, MyOrg IT Dept, etc)?

It really depends on how much of the access control you use, etc.?
Also, which of the Storm modules do you use?

Hi ...

I use Organisation, Tasks, Tickets, Projects, Notes and Attributes. Of course Person too.
If its not that important for the masses, leave it like it is. in that case i'll code it for myself.

Multiple Orgs won't help because I work for a franchise company were already "multiple" organisations exist.
