On threads that have many replies, when a user is deleted, or a bunch of posts get deleted (e.g. pruning spam posts) pagination gets messed up. For example going to the last page on a 160 page thread will pull up an empty page and will require going back to page 159 to see posts.

The pagination is handled by core so I don't see how AF could be affecting this. Did you confirm that the problem goes away when you disable AF?
