Task description

Old Docs issue (nearly a year old, needs to be updated for D7 release) #677186: Content Types handbook page needs D7 update

This page basically just needs updating to include D7 http://drupal.org/node/21947. D7 should become the primary content, and D6 kept on the same page as exceptions where necessary. (See http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/update for an example of how to structure D7 and D6 docs on a single page.)

Noticing some style guide non-conformity on the page too (eg. with the heading styles), so could probably use a little formatting love (style guide is here).

Deliverables

An updated Documentation page, reviewed by a minimum of two other community members (one must be a Docs Team member) and approved so that the original issue can be marked fixed.

Looks great to me, but we need to find a primary contact.

I've already been working with this issue (ref. #1018184: Please review "Add a link to a menu" (Drupal 7)). I've got the time and interest to be the primary contact.

jn2 - hey, gci's actually done now, but if you want to work on this issue, that'd be great!

Yeah, after I posted that, I kinda wondered about the "Google code in" title.

I checked out the page to get started tonight, and it's not one I can edit. I assume I would need documentation admin access. When I noticed "Apply to be documentation admin" as an option in the issue queue, I considered applying so that I could copy edit as I read on d.o. (small things like spelling, punctuation, etc.).

I went ahead and applied.
