If I read this module's description right, only the site administrator can create a live update stream. If you gave permission to all authenticated users, could any logged-in user create and add to a live update stream? I think this might be a feature I would like to offer to my site's users.

I am closing this issue, since Drupal 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x are now not supported.
