Hi,
On my website i have too many problems with the xmlsitemap module that i explaine here.

    1) The batch process of "Rebuilding Sitemap" hangs at "Initialisation".
    2) The batch process of "Regenerating Sitemap" hangs at "Initialisation".
    3) On "Report Summary" i have the message "The XML sitemap data is out of sync and needs to be completely rebuilt".
    4) The Module don't create the "Sitemap.xml" at the site root.

I think that if i resolve the 1st problem i could resolve the others but i don't find solution of it, even by googling since 2 weeks.

2.x is not all there yet. There is a new concept called context that is not yet implemented for all the parts offered... So if you need a sitemap now, use 1.x instead, or maybe 2.0-beta1.

Hi all,
I had tested the 2 versions but still have the same problem, all the Batch tasks hangs and stops at "Initialisation".
What could i do to resovle this major problem ?

Version 1.x does not support a batch.

If you switch from one to the other, you must uninstall everything, then reinstall from scratch. That means the folder must also be cleaned up and the new version extracted.

One other things I just learned, you may want/have to go to your Content types and make sure that each time is marked as enabled in regard to processing the sitemap. By default, with 2.x, it's Disabled and thus won't generate links for the nodes.

However, on a new site (where I did not have to go through the upgrade process), I had the front page appear by default. This is with the latest 2.x-dev version.
