Hi

For those of us in Europe the date format 2010-12-23 is unusual. Most of us would change the date format our site uses via the Date module and /admin/settings/date-time/formats to 23-12-2010. Shouldn't this module honour this site-wide setting ?

I'd also like to second this. It's quite messy to overrride the setting, but shouldn't be a huge change in the module to enable this. Would the maintainer be interested in a patch for this?
