I currently use User Protect for our site, so the users can't change their user role. But, whenever a user edits other items in their account, their role disappears in the Site User List. If I go and look at the user list under admin settings, their roles are still there. Why is this occuring, and how do you stop it?

I have the same issue...

Other modules we use that could be causeing the problem are Profile, Filter Default, Advanced User Management, Automated Logout, Disable Password Strength Check, Keep Session, My Account Alter, No Request New Pass, One Page Profile, Password Change Confirm, RealName, Require Login, Safer Login, Secure Site, Shared E-mail, Site User List, Site User List Roles, User Protect and Profile Role. Does anybody else have any problems and have other modules such as these?

I gave user protect and user role a quick try but didn't experience any issues. If I can replicate the problem, I'd be happy to at least determine the cause. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, do you also use any of the modules listed by warriors? Also, I'm using version 6.x-1.0-beta1.

Regards,
Anthony

Just built a new version (should be available momentarily) that contains an unrelated bug fix. You may want to use site_user_list 6.x-1.x-dev

My mistake. Once available, you'll want site_user_list 6.x-1.1-beta2

Version: 6.x-1.0-beta1 » 6.x-1.1-beta2

Tried out beta2. This still wasn't fixed.
