IMHO, the quality and formatting of this showcase is not up to par with our front page promotion requirements, and as such I think this is a won't fix.
Agreed. As currently written, this is not front page material. Case studies that get promoted to the home page are typically "success stories" about Drupal implementations. Marking as "needs work" and giving the author a few days to respond before marking as "won't fix".
