Hi everyone,
here is a patch to show description field content under a video thumbnail, and not only in the Alt attribute of the thumbnail image.
These are the steps to let video description show under the thumbnail:
1) Create a new Embedded Video field on a node type (or use a field you already have).
2) Activate the Description field on the just created field's settings page.
3) Go to admin/content/node-type/YOUR_NODE_TYPE/display and select something with thumbnail ("Image Thumbnail", "Image Thumbnail (linked to node)", "Image Thumbnail (linked to original video)", "Thumbnail -> Full Size Video inline replacement", ...) for the field.
4) Create a new node of the type in step 1 and add an embedded video with a description.
The description will show under the thumbnail or under the video title, if activated.
