One would expect the SimpleTest to be available as a switchable option only if the 2.x version of the contrib module is present. It is listed anyways tough.

There should be a check for this and if installed but not enabled, then the checkbox should be there but grayed out (locked). If both installed and enabled as well, then the checkbox can be available (both visible and selectable).

...never mind me. Working for too many hours now and head is spinning.

This works fine. The only thing perhaps missing is the check for the contrib module being enabled or not, so adjusting title & category.
