I'm not sure if this module is still being maintained, but I had a problem that went away when I disabled this module.

I have a number of text fields (plain-text) within a fieldgroup. When I click on "Add another item" it causes all of the fields underneath this one in the fieldgroup.

Has anyone ever seen this?

Got the same issue here. Happens on a live site, but not the localhost development version.

Found it was a problem to do with the cache. I found that during a migration a couple of 'cache_****' tables got lost in the data transfer. Might not be that for you specifically, but could be to do with something regarding your cache more generally.

The Drupal 6 version of Maxlength is no longer supported so I'm marking this Closed (won't fix).

I also encourage you, if you haven't already, to upgrade your site to Drupal 8/9. We are actively maintaining that version and you would enjoy all of the other features of the latest version of Drupal.
