Is there a way to mark certain blogs to a mature only group only accessible with people
with that definition of access? My concern is for those people that have sensitive topics and need
support from within that group of people and not hecklers or trolls from the outside.

Likewise, can I set a group of pictures, bookmarks the same way?

Node-level permissions are not available in Drupal 4.4.2 but will be part of Drupal 4.5.0. It is already available in the development version.
