CVS edit link for chaosprinz

We are developing a module which brings a button to the nodecreation-form. A click on it open up a dialogbox, holding a view. Clicking any link in that view, will bring the html of that link to text-body.
The module is under heavy development, which can be seen on https://github.com/drupaletics/node2node
The name "node2node" is given to another module (drupal.org/cvs-application) which was marked as unsercure, and which had not commits since 2 years. So we want to ask if there is possibility to get this name later for our project.

Hello Drupal,
here comes somes information about us and our project.

Were some "drupaletics", members DUG-Ruhrgebiet in germany. We are team of 2 deveopers and one designer. Snicers, the designer & myself released a couple of websites driven with drupal.
Also our own project-manageent relies on open-atrium, which is an drupal-installation-profile.
In all the projects, we missed one little thing i'll describe now.

When i write a article for my blog, or some documentation for a project or any other kind of node, i very often want/have to link to another node on the site.
To do so, i open a new browser-tab with the same website, search the needed node, copy its link and then go back to the node-edit-tab, write the html and paste the url to its href.
What is this process like? Everything, but not quick or charming"

So we thought about a way to get this process both, quick and charming. We had the idea to have a view inside the node-edit-form which shows up linked nodetitles of nodes. A view would be the best way, we thought, cause with a view the sidebuilder can controll which nodes can be linked by who.

Ok nice, but to have view in the node-edit-form doesnt solve it, that i have to copy and paste the adress and write the html for the link. So i created a Javascript, which makes it possible to click on such a link in this view, the page wont be called, but the html with the adress will be posted to the node-body-text-field.

To get this realy charming, we wanted to have possibility to turn this feature on and off for every single node-type. Todo so, i made module of it, which has a configuration page, which give the opportunity to define, which nodetypes will be covered.

I asked the drupaletics (DUG Ruhrgebiet) what they think of this idea, and they all were delighted about it. So i thought, thats a need for more people working with drupal as a cms and like drupal shares its code with me, i just wanted to share my code with drupal.

The module is very lightweight, and cause of its nature, which is not writing more than one variable, its also secure.

The code can be watched on https://github.com/drupaletics/node2node at the moment. On next tuesday, well have the last prerelease-version-codesprint to fix the last 2 or 3 Issues and planning the extension & refacturing. So when you want it, i could give you a tarball in a attachment on tuesday.

Hi Kiamlaluno,
we are waiting now for CVS Account for over 2 month. How long does this usually take? This module is a tiny thing...

As per previous comment, I am setting this issue as Won't fix.
Since new users can now create full projects, applications have a different purpose and they are handled on a different issue queue. See Apply for permission to opt into security advisory coverage for more information.
