Do you have plans to take Premium to D7? I have searched and cannot find any other module that does what this does.

miklI have worked on multilevel for Drupal 6, with plans for how this could be done for Drupal 7. If the current module maintainers are willing to let me work on this, I'll be willing to do the work.
See the multilevel thread for details.

anrikun commentedThis module does not seem to be maintained any more.
You may try instead Node Option Premium that has a D7 version.

shadowmihai commented@anrikun - thanks, I don't know why that never came up on a module search for me.
It also appears from the stats that it has *no* D7 users - even though premium content access is such a hot search topic. I've downloaded and will try it.
I encourage others to do so, too, so that if it works, it can be used and developed further.

anrikun commentedI has no D7 users yet as I have released it yesterday :-)

idcm commentedThank you for posting the note for the Node Option Premium module. I was beginning to worry I wouldn't' be able to keep my premium content feature. From the looks of it, Node Option Premium looks like a better option.

Taxoman commented(Edit; adjusted with more relevant links and description, had the feeling that this was discussed in another thread already, initial post happened too quickly...)
I am curious as of both Premium (this), Premium_content and Node Option Premium could be merged together if that is not too complex?
Ref. #51483: Allow multiple levels of premium content(comment #40) and #1119168: Premium has been forked..
@anrikun and @miki; could you outline the main differences? What do you think about merging them?

mikl#9: http://drupal.org/project/premium_content is a continuation of this module. I wanted to take over maintainership of this module, but the current owners are not willing to let me.
http://drupal.org/project/node_option_premium is a different approach. It works by modifying the tabels created by Drupal core. I have tried to find common ground with the developer of that, but he is dead set on his approach.

anybodyhttps://www.drupal.org/project/role_paywall seems a good alternative!
Could all the D8+ alternatives perhaps be listed on the module page?
