Allowed Values Checkbox

Hello,

I am using CCK text field type with a select list widget with multiple allowed values.
I use this so that users can select mutiple regions in there post. Then using Views i have created a exposed filter so visitors can find post specific to certain regions.

Now the problem i have is that most of my users don't know how to select mutiple values (hold ctrl and click the values) as seen in the attached not-ok.jpeg.

Is there any one who can tell me how i could get check boxes next to the regions so my users can chex the regions easier. Like i tried to illustrate in the ok.jpeg.
