Drupal_parse_info_file parses a Drupal-specific file in .info format into a PHP array. This task is to provide the reverse -- build a function to convert a PHP array into a .info file for Drupal.

Deliverables
A patch to Drupal core with the function to create a .info file from an array (see specification above), as well as accompanying unit tests.

This seems pretty solid. Do you actually need a mentor on this or just someone to click the button so you get paid? If the latter I'm happy to facilitate this. I know you're a better programmer than I so I can be a second pair of eyes as well but if someone like chx wants to mentor so much the better.

I'm not going to do this task -- we've agreed that I can propose tasks so long as I don't take them. so, yes this needs a mentor, but it can't be me.
