I am not sure what happened, but looks like I do not have user 1 access to my site.
Possible reasons:
1. admin name was renamed
Now I cannot do the updates. Is there any way to get user 1 access back? Or, if not, how to complete my updates without it?

wow... you'd probably need to do it at the database level, insert a new row.
