I have searched the site for help with issues I am having with Blogger generated Atom feeds in the aggregator module on my site. The problem is as follows:
1) With certain feeds (I am thinking those being generated by the Beta version of Blogger) the last 25 postings are considered to be new posts when refreshed by the aggregator. There is documentation on the blogger site suggesting that this is a one time issue with the conversion to the beta software, but it seems to be more repeated than that for me).
2) When these 25 posts are loaded into the aggregator module, somehow the link to the main post is corrupted, so that the aggregator displays the earliest post loaded URL in all 25 feed postings.
3) I have looked at the Atom feed in Firefox 2 and all appears kosher there. Somehow it seems like the aggregator module is not reading the presenting link information correctly.
4) An example of a feed that is doing this is http://www.guywilliams.blogspot.com/atom.xml. You can see the resulting output on my site http://www.methoblog.com. Check out both the "Latest UM Blogposts" block on the right, and the menu item labeled "UM Blogposts."
I look forward to hearing from you aggregator gurus who might be able to help me address this problem.

elfur commentedI have the exact same problem on my site (using 4.7.3).
And since the site in question is a RSS portal, it's rather urgent to find a solution.
Has anyone figured out how to solve this?
thanks

hpn commentedI would like to confirm the issue, as well.

hpn commentedA quick workaround is to use the alternative RSS feed URL for the blogspot blogs (the one with "feeds/posts/default?alt=rss" in URL).

mcduarte2000 commentedOther quick alternative is using www.feedburner.com and changing the feed from atom to RSS.

nommo commentedI also have this problem. I tried some of the workarounds mentioned above, but they didn't work. It seems that the aggregator has trouble updating the feed even when I click "update items" - the blog headlines still link to the same old blog post url. I tried removing the feed - thinking that might help parse the correct feed - but I cannot successfully remove the feed from the list. Anyone else having trouble removing a feed on top of this issue?

rubyjiI'm working with some colleagues who have a 4.7 site and have the same problem. The aggregator insists that there are no new posts on blogspot feeds (eg: http://1peaceatatime.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default) when I know there are.
Will try the FeedBurner workaround, but this is ridiculous!

mustafau commentedDupe of #130344: ATOM feed items link to the current page rather than back to the original source
