I saw you added 4 Single Elimination.
Is it possible to have 32 and 64 double elimination?
128 single and double elimination will be usefull too!
Thank you in advance :)

MasterChief commentedHi jimbullington!
I just install the beta version,
I choose in bracket configuration the default display HTML.
When i create a new bracket and verify the html , i have just after the link for printable version this :
So i think something is wrong no?
MasterChief commentedI am making an update of my previous comment.
In the Bracket Display Options of a bracket, when i select html it works!
So the real problem is in brackets site configuration, when you select default display => HTML, it seems than this option do nothing, in effect when you create a new bracket and you look at Bracket Display Options, the default selected option is Image and no HTML, so this a small bug
Comment #3
jimbullington commentedThis should be corrected in the next 6.x-2.x-dev build. The admin option was actually intended to be a default for new brackets. I've also added a button to the admin settings to update the display option in all brackets to the default.

MasterChief commentedHi jim!
So I will install the dev version to try this.
Do you think you could make 32 64 128 DE and 128 SE designs ?
jimbullington commentedI will try to get these done in the coming weeks - getting the HTML output going was a lot of work!
What do you think of the HTML layouts? These larger brackets will be big - do you think the larger ones need to be scaled down more (smaller fonts)? I was concerned that the fonts would not be readable...

MasterChief commentedHi again jim!
I have no doubt about that and I thank you again for all your work!
I think some improvements can be done, look at this link :
http://www.ncaa.com/brackets/basketball/men/
It's the better example i found, you can see how they show a match with number of the team, name and scores and the whole with borders for every match.
It's useful because i know that Alun of LeagueSite module wants to integrate scores on the brackets, so i think this example is the best one.
I know too that he wants to put the winner of each match in color.
But your dates rounds disposition is better than in this example so keep it!
Also in the example they made 4 brackets of 16 teams it's not fair, i prefer what you made with 32 at the left, 32 at the right, so keep it too!
I didn't verify if you have showed the match for the 3rd place, if it's not a case it can be useful to do it.
With all that, you can reduce the size and have a good font size.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you want suggestions and tell me what you think about what i said.

MasterChief commentedHi jim!
I am trying to changing the design, and i would like to know if it possible to generate a css class for the winner of each match, we have the data so i think it must be possible like what you have done for "HOME".
Thanks again.

ddorian commentedanother example in html:
http://www.fifa.com/clubworldcup/matches/index.html
dont know how will it work with more teams though
Comment #12
jimbullington commentedThank you for the suggestion - that is a great idea!
I've added class bracket-match-winner to the winning competitor of each match. Let me know if that works for you.
It should be available on the next build of the 6.x-2.x-dev build.

MasterChief commentedThank you very much Jim !

MasterChief commentedOk Jim!
If it takes a lot of time to make new designs maybe let stay in beta the HTML output and began the user reference and node reference will be better ?
How you see the integration of user reference and node reference ?
Thank you again for your work :)

pallard commentedFirst: Great Work on the Module. I can see numerous uses for a module like this.
Second: I was wanted to implement some custom brackets for a competition where there is no elimination at all and all teams play to a final where they are placed.
(1 vs 16) - (1 vs 8) - (1 vs 4) - (1 vs 2) -> path to trophy
\-> (9 vs 16) - (13 vs 16) - (15 vs 16) -> path to wooden spoon
etc for the rest of the placements
Third: also a tournament where round robin is played to set seeding an top 8 play to championship bottom 8 play for a trophy. of the top 8 the 1/4 final losers play for a trophy and of the bottom 8 the 1/4 final losers play for a trophy as well.
http://www.examiner.com/rugby-in-denver/irb-rugby-sevens-world-series-ad... maybe this will paint a clearer image.
Thanks - Patty

jimbullington commentedA 32 and 64 competitor DE bracket should be available in the next 6.x-2.x-dev build later today.
Hope this helps - the images and html are very large.
Have not done a 128 SE bracket yet - was not sure I could fit it on letter or legal paper for PDF and it still be readable.
Will try to put together some RR samples in the coming weeks.
