Signup Status is Still Visible for unselected Roles

Issue Summary

I am trying to use the signup status module to manage which people have paid.

In the permissions the admin is the only person with signup status permissions but when I visit the content type to register all roles are able to select their status.

Can anybody tell me how to make the status "only" visible to the admin?
