Author affiliation [#985390]

Hi,

I'm not sure this is a feature request, maybe the feature already exists, but I couldn't find it.
We would be interested in having affiliations associated with authors. I noticed there already is an "affiliation" field in the DB for biblio contributors. Nevertheless, I couldn't find a way to fill it in through the user interface. There is a "biblio_other_author_affiliations" field, but it only seems to allow one affiliation per publication... Is there a(nother) way to allow users to set the affiliation for each author?

if you go to the "admin/settings/biblio/author" page and click the [edit] link beside any author, you will be presented with a form which includes the "affiliation" (per author) field. Be forewarned though, that field isn't used anywhere (but it could be, if you tell me how you would like to use it)

Thank you for your swift reply.
I was thinking more of a way of filling this in when a new biblio reference is added. We would need this for a (web service) export of our Drupal biblio towards another data base which requires each author to have at least one affiliation.
