Trouble with gunmetal
Hello all,
I couldn't find the answers to these questions via searching the forums and handbooks. My apologies if they have been covered before.
1). In the gunmetal theme, there is no content block as default. The default displays the last 10 posts or whatever it is set at. This content is displaying fine. However, submission forms appear down quite a ways in the content block area, below the lowest block on the right sidebar. Is this just a bug in the theme itself? If it is caused by 800x600 resolution, how does one eliminate this extra spacing?
2.) The floating footer has been somewhat problematic. I entered clear:both; at the end of my style.css file, in the #footer css. However, this just causes the footer to appear below any content and blocks, yet still obstruct clicking on the links below it. Before it was appearing above and obstructing the content, and it seems the only thing that changed was superficial. Is there anyway to get this footer to appear at the very bottom of the page consistently?

Hey did you ever figure this out? Right now I am running into the same problem with a similar theme, well at least the same problem as the #1 problem. The forms and other objects seems to like to be pushed down by the sidebar menu but not sure how to correct it myself (and have tried just about everything I can think of to fix it). If you have fixed it it would be a great help if you could tell me how or if not this would at least get more people to see the problem.
BTW I am using the Warped theme and using it for 5.0 (have changed a few things to make it a left sidebar rather than right as well). If anyone needs to see the style.css or page.tpl.php then I will gladly submit it here too.
