Hi,
I am new to Drupal and am having difficulties in creating an online booking system for existing users. Can any of you please help me on this. The system is to be used for gym members to book a class online, therefore does not need to take payments.
The features I require are:
- Easy add and delete classes by site Admin.
- Gym members can easily book available classes
- Gym members can view class booked
- Email notification to gym members and admin when class is booked
Optional requirements:
- Gym member can cancel any booked classes
- Email gym member a reminder a day before class starts
- Classes to have a limit on attendants
I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide on this.

Booking system with Drupal
Normally, "How do I make a site for..." questions can learn a lot from the Drupal Site Recipes pages:

From a quick scan, I don't see anything on the list addressing reservations or bookings, but look closely if you haven't already; there may be something there.
I haven't myself created a booking system, so can't offer much help (sorry). But if you can spring for a book purchase, there's one that might help: Packt's Drupal E-commerce with Ubercart 2.x. I reviewed the book (below), which discusses building of a general e-commerce site, but also includes an appendix on creating a hotel booking system. If Ubercart is a solution for you (I think it's useful even where payments aren't involved), that appendix should be a big help.

Online booking system
Hi,
I am new to Drupal and am having difficulties in creating an online booking system for students with lecturers. Can any of you please help me on this. The system is to be used for students to make appointments with lecturers.
The features I require are:
•Lecturer determines which slots are available
. Students can register, and make appointments in slots that are vacant
. Students can cancel their appointments, making those slots free again
. Lecturer can cancel slots; if so, students, having signed upwill get an email/sms informing them, and inviting them to re-book, etc.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide on this.

Hello,
BookingBug will be able to help as it has Drupal modules.
Your lecturers will be able to set up a calendar to show their availability. Students will be able to book these slots and choose a fixed time for the appointment. Students will receive a confirmation email once they make a booking, in the email there is a link to amend or cancel the booking.
Lecturers have complete control of their schedule, they can cancel bookings (students will receive cancellation emails). At the moment, the only SMS students would receive is to remind them of their appointment. Lecturers will receive SMS when a booking is made, moved or canceled.
