Description
The Media: blip.tv module for Drupal 6 adds blip.tv support to the Embedded Media Field module. For Drupal 7, Embedded Media Field's functionality is being replaced by the Media Module, which takes advantage of Drupal's new PHP stream wrapper support.
Deliverables
Completed port of the Media: blip.tv module to Drupal 7. This does not need to include an upgrade path, which will be handled as part of a different GCI task.

amye commentedSweet!
If no one else has any objections, I'll add this in tomorrow after we've had a conversation about who'll mentor.

cwgordon7 commentedThis looks good, just needs a mentor - anyone committed to mentor?

petey318 commentedpossibly a silly question (so please forgive my ignorance here) but should this now be an issue in the media:bliptv issue queue (tagged as 7.x) ? I searched the media:bliptv issue queue but as yet there is nothing at all tagged for D7.
I would be interesting in helping out in getting this module to work on D7 however I am not a coder (not a good one anyway) but I am willing to try, test, give feedback etc.
I've already downloaded the dev version of media:bliptv, but already I have struck some problems with trying to use the embed code provided by bliptv...
What's the next step with this module?
thanks
Pete
