Dear Alun,

I have entered a lot of players and teams to test on valid data. I have a few questions, though:

  1. I can enter Time, Player and Penalty but only minute not seconds (e.g. 10 in stead of 09:47): how do I change this?
  2. I've entered 6 penalties for the Home Team and 5 for the Away Team: accessing the match again shows the Home Team's penalties but only the 5th penalty for the Away Team (the database table shows all 11 penalties). What am I doing wrong?
  3. Where do I enter specifics about a Goal Scorer (time and name)?
  4. I'm hoping to use LeagueSite for Skaterhockey where substitutions make no sense (players change constantly): is it possible to change the Substitutions sections to e.g. scoring details (scorer and assist)?

I do apologize if my questions are too trivial or already have been handled elsewhere.

Hi ElRefe, no problem, these are all very valid questions!

1) Currently, you can't enter seconds, but I can see why you would want to. I'll see about adding it.
2) That sounds like a bug, I'll look into it to sort out, thanks!
3) Have you added players to your team? (edit team node, then click the players tab) if you have, then the player details show up in the breakdown for you to select.
4) This is also something I haven't done yet, I need to think of how to get that in the database - definitely something I want to do. I'm not sure how long it will take.

Re. 3): I did enter all players and have no problem selecting them in the breakdown. The breakdown, however, only gives me the possibility to enter Penalties and Substitutions?!

Hi ElRefe, I have updated the match breakdown screen and added support for seconds in the scoring time. This is in the dev version. Its work in progress.
You need to add a scoring method to your sport to solve your last question. This will add the scoring details to the breakdown screen then.

Because you need to add the players to the team for that specific season. Go to team page/edit and you should see 2 tabs, edit and players. Go to players and add them.
