To prevent users outside of Sri Lanka from registering, I used a combination of Countries API, IP to Country and Register Country. I would like to have some feedback on this.

I am not very good at graphic design and I have not hired a graphic designer yet. Have a look at this business profile http://www.srilankaonline.org/profile/733. Let me have your suggestions.

I am using shared hosting from iWeb. I would like to know how fast the pages load and any browser problems.

Feel free to give me your suggestions, feedback and ideas to improve upon this site. I thank the developers of Drupal and the module contributors. Keep up the good work !

I am running a 1.5 mb connection and the page was fully loaded in about 2-3 seconds. The site looks nice. I hope you get a good community group using it.

SEO-Web-Designer-Sri Lanka’s picture

I have an IT consulting firm in UK and a development centre in Sri Lanka

We developed our Sri Lankan site using drupal 6 with a custom template
After enabling the caching in UK our site loads below one second and srilanka
it takes upto 8 minutes (http://seo-webdesign.lk)

This was using a 1.5 Mb ADSL line
we atried our best to strip down the css and java scripts and then to fina an acceptable speed
There were performance optimisations steps, but they were not in an acceptable margin

We had to move the site back to our company site in uk http://seo-webdesignuk.com. The speed s in UK suites drupal best and its running with out any trouble

The initial srilankan web site is running on joomla now which has better performances

any one got any commends or suggestions?
Being a drupler, I didnt want joomla to do the job for me
