Haven't seen or heard of any activity on this module for a while so I took the liberty of creating a patch for 5.x.

I should have mentioned this patch is for HEAD and not the 4.7.x release

I tested this today using 5.1 and it seems to work well. It would be nice if the patch to be reviewed and a formal release done :)
