Hi guys,
What are the chances of this module supporting the HPP method? Given that there's a patch on http://drupal.org/node/414932 (although it's for D5), would this make the possibility fairly painless?
Cheers.

jm.federico commentedHi
To which patch are you referring to? The issue you link to #414932: Drupal 6 version of this module was to port the module to D6, which has been made. And, well, to be honest with you I'm not sure what the HPP method is (does?).
Marking as postponed until more info is provided.
Cheers

marleo commented*Smack* Sorry, wrong link. :-( Too many tabs open...
The correct link is here:
http://www.ubercart.org/forum/bounties/4327/payment_gateway_ubercart
and the thread discussion should be pretty clear.
Basically, instead of processing credit cards on the site, it passes you to the NAB Transact HPP (Hosted Payments Page) where you complete the transaction. Means you don't have to deal with SSL and its dependencies. Comment #18 has the tarfile for the contributed patch, but for D5.
Hope that makes more sense.

jm.federico commentedIt makes more sense now! ;)
I'm a bit busy right now, specially moving modules form D6 to D7. Unfortunately this module is not the most popular one. Once I start porting this on to D7 I will probably integrate HPP to it and then backport it to D6, but that would take a while, at least 3 months until I start working on that.
If you want to sponsor the development send me a message using my profile contact form and I can jump to it right away.
Cheers

cmwwebfx commentedI have sent you a message Frederico regarding the hpp method.
If there are others that will like to have this as an option, maybe we can put together some money
so it will not cost us too much.

elc commentedThe NAB Transact HPP method does not have a dependency on uc_credit, and also has a independant implementation with few common features. It is now its own project, and has an alpha release: http://drupal.org/project/uc_nab_transact_hpp
