This is a very minor support request, because it's not crucial that I figure it out, but would be nice.

I am using panels for my gaming website to make game pages. I create a content type called Game, then a variant that uses that content type. What I want to do is create a variant for each specific console, and theme it a little differently with colors, different sized box arts, etc...For example...Call of Duty for Xbox 360 will have a slightly different theme than Call of Duty for PS3, or Call of Duty for the Wii, etc...

So, I go into Contexts and select Taxonomy term >> Add context. From the Vocabulary drop down I choose Console, and enter in Xbox 360. Then in the Selections rules, I add it to the list and choose All criteria must pass. In the summary it confirms: "This panel will be selected if Node being viewed is type "Game", and Taxonomy term exists."

When I create a game page, it uses that variant no matter what I put in the Console taxonomy. I made a Wii variant, that doesn't get used, even if I enter Wii into the taxonomy. I'm entering the taxonomy term when I make the content type, so I don't know if I'm not supposed to do that or not.

I figure that it's probably me, and I just don't understand the contexts stuff. Does it sound like I'm doing it right, or am I wrong?

I thought I had a handle on context for the most part. Your process is the same I would have used. I did some testing and got the same issue. The tax term selection rule is ignored. I tried to reverse the node type and term rules, wondering if it was stopping at the first rule and not moving forward - same result. I removed the node type rule and the term rule was ignored.

Maybe this is not operator error?

Unfortunately, this issue has remained open, without activity, for a very long time. I hope you can understand that between maintaining the module, work, and other obligations, the maintainers are very busy. This leads to not all issues being answered.

In order to figure out who still actually needs help, I'm going over all low activity support requests that has not been touched for 6 months, and marking them "Postponed, needs info". In many cases, I expect the question to already have been answered, or become obsolete.

If you still care for this issue, please just reset it's status to active, and we'll try to help you. Please remember to post any new information that may be relevant, such as new versions of Panels that you are using, or own attempts at debugging.

A month has passed, and I'm going over the issue queue ones more. Some issues have been closed for other reasons, some re-opened, but this issue has remained silent for the past month.
Because of this, I'm doing a bulk close of a number off issues. I'm sorry that it happened this way, but the issue queue has had to few contributors, and to many questions.

Again, as said in the previous comment, feel free to re-open the issue by setting it to active, if you still need help.
