I've been trying to enable the views module the whole damn day. I kept getting the server error 500. My php limit is fine, and everything "should" work normally...however, it doesn't.

I did some research on drupal and found that there is some error with the admin menu and the views module (this is weird since I have 2 other sites that are running both modoules just fine). I tried enabling the modules and after I uninstalled the admin menu. Once I enabled the views module again I was taken to the same error page, but a quick refresh ensured me the modules were, in fact, installed.

I enabled the permissions...I couldn't even see the Views as one of the menu options. I changed the theme to the basic, and now I can't even adjust anything.

I can see the admin menu, but it's like I don't have certain privileges!?!

So that 1st part magically solved itself...I'm still having the problem with views, i'm still getting that error 500 but the module is enabled. Any idea why I can't view it in the admin menu?

Hi, have you enabled the "view ui" module ?

Yes, I've done that. Every time I enable the views module I get the server error 500 page. Once I hit refresh, I'm brought back to the modules page and the views module is enabled, it even shows up in the permissions page...but it's nowhere on the admin page...
