Probably a newbie question ...
I note in my Recent log entries the creation of a new user and just after a login attempt of this user.
How to protect my blog against this/these hacker(s) ?
I note also several attempts to the forum but my blog has no forum !

If you want to turn off registration for you site, do so using the user settings. Checkout http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/user

If you do have registration, have captcha on your registration page to prevent hacking.
