This is the latest of my drupal work. Motos Without Borders.com

Motorbike tours runs for three weeks, in the remote reaches ofLadakh. Through the months of June, July and August Motos Without Borders will be taking 60 riders through Ladakh. We can effectively cater for both faster and more leisurely riders, by splitting the group into two packs. From altitude crazy passes, majestic lakes, desert mountains, snow coveredpeeks, freezing torrents and the humble Buddhist people who inhabit these harsh lands. This tour packs it all, you are guaranteed to come away totally mazed with more stories than you can tell.

The website for now is a online brochure for Motor Bike Trips, at the moment they are running trips in Ladakh a remote area in India. The design breaks away from the standard blog look and feel, its more brochure like. The navigation around the site was one of the main focuses, to ensure it was easy to find sections.

  • First time following best practice principals when it comes down to design used blueprintcss as my starting point for the custom theme.
  • Drupal 7, yay!
  • Waiting for more stability in the Drupal Commerce project to wire in the booking system.

Some of the issues I found with the new templating system. Drupal is still spitting out loads of junk when is generates the html, I wish it was cleaner. Hey, guys why don't you allow us designer/themes the ability to add a class on a field if we want it on the field item under manage fields? Also had to 'hack' the right side navigation bar into place as I love the ability to now use the fields as span's in the blueprint framework... only issue is one cant render a region down next to a field... a little frustrating.

But its turned out pretty darn gosh good.
