quicksketch#313639: Public vs. private components would probably help you with this request, but Webform will never have a "workflow"-like system. Using a private component you could set the default to "Not approved" and then have an administrator move it to "Approved", but then you'd also have to rebuild all the page listings with the also-not-finished #680386: Views integration for the webform_submitted_data table.

vako commentedThank you for the quick response.
However I don't understand why a workflow system cannot be implemented on this module. Any submission should be monitored and filtered somehow.
But anyways, it's a great module, hopefully this feature will be implemented in the near future.

quicksketchAll submission are typically only sent to administrators anyway, so a system to "moderate" them seems unusual. In any case I'm marking this duplicate, since the best hope for it is #313639: Public vs. private components .

vako commentedI use Webform for petitions and in all my forms, submissions are visible by anonymous users immediately after they submit the form. Sometimes they post spam, slogans, inappropriate content, etc. that's why I think moderation is appropriate for this module. I will follow-up the "Public vs. private components" post, thanks.

brian_c commentedWould like to re-request this feature.
In particular, this statement: "All submission are typically only sent to administrators anyway" seems like it may be out of date? Today we have excellent automated protection for Webform like CAPTCHA & Mollom. Mollom in particular can only retain spam if the module supports some sort of published/unpublished state.
Right now, if a client insists on being able to view Mollom-blocked spam for their Contact Us form, Webform is unsuitable as a solution. Sure I could switch it to some sort of moderated node creation, but isn't a simple Contact Form (which these days absolutely requires good spam blocking support) precisely the use case that Webform is intended for?

danchadwick commentedClosing for lack of activity. 7.x-3.x is receiving critical bug fixes only.
