the import of a folder that I created using FTP to import into my gallery fails with the error message
"There was an error that prevented ... (image_file) ... from being imported."
The log file has no further statement where the error belongs to.

- i checked the folder permission rights and chmoded it to 777!
- i disabled and enabled the module, run update script, but no effect... :-/

Previous imports have already worked, i haven't make changes or updates since.

can anyone help?

I just changed safe mode off and now it seems to work... o.0

While I created a gallery node manually I was pointed to a wrong uid by the logfile...
