I'm unhappy with TinyMCE. I'm going to give bbcode/quicktags a try. I've now unchecked TinyMCE and IMCE in administer-->modules. Will there be any consequences for nodes created with TinyMCE. (I know that if I uncheck Img_assist that images using the img_assist filters will no longer work -- is there any problem like that with TinyMCE?).

I'm hoping you'll say, "no prob. bro."

Not sure what would happen, but why don't you set up a test site so that you could try this out (or anything else) so that you don't risk anything bad happening to your production site.

I uninstalled TinyMCE and the posts that were created using TinyMCE stayed the same. The tags are already in there so it didn't affect it. Of course I started to play with input format and messed everything up but that's a different story.
