Hi there. I have a client who wants to upload a PDF flyer on a regular basis to their drupal site, have the current one displayed in a block, with a thumbnail displayed that reflects the current flyer. I've looked through the forums but haven't had a lot of luck. Any suggestions as to what modules, tools would work for this would be greatly appreciated. They will want to move to a flipbook eventually, and I think I've got that one figured out, but the thumbnail/block solution is eluding me.

Does it have to be a pdf that gets uploaded? because if your client could export the pdf as an image, you could just do this with imagecache.

just stumbled upon this PDF to imagefield module. Haven't tried it tough

Thanks very much for this - I'll check it out. My preference would be to go directly to the flipbook route, actually, but this looks like it might be a good intermediate solution.
