Hello, I am new to drupal (1 month) and cannot find how to make a complex website like www.rakeback.com.
Here are some questions:
Which modules are needed at first look?
Where is the code for each page to look as it looks? I mean the boxes of which every page is made.

It actually seems pretty
It actually seems pretty straightforward. The side columns could be done with blocks and the middle page with a combination of the views and the panels modules. Plus, of course, a lot of theming.

Is Drupal a good choice for my website version 2
My website is http://www.regalospoker.com and would like to change it to Drupal for version 2, do you think drupal is a good choice for this version 2?
If I'm new to Drupal, how long would it take to understand the product enough to build a site like mine, plus adding the community and news funcionality that come with drupal?
I ask because I feel Drupal is the most complicated thing Ive had to work with. Cannot find easy documentation for modules (Panels, views, categorys)
May be it would be better to build my website with normal php/css.
Ive bought a book "Creating Blogs, Forums, Portals, and Community Websites" and all is not much more clear.
No reason, Drupal couldn't
No reason, Drupal couldn't do what you need it to but what more do you expect to achieve. Also, the best way to find out what a module does is to install it and play with it. There might even be some tutorials out there.

Well, do you mean I cannot
Well, do you mean I cannot use drupal to build a site like mine or that is better to use other things than drupal?
Also I think my site will be like rakeback.com. and this one is build with drupal.
Thanks.
your site can be rebuilt
your site can be rebuilt with drupal.
yes there is a learning curve. This is true. The documentation for the more powerful modules is being added to the handbooks.
heres a quick explaination. anytime you want to make a list of something, think views module. a quick tutorial can be found http://drupal.org/node/63230
there are also many video casts in the hand book that explain how to do things from working with modules to creating templates.
GIYF = Google is your friend. Drupal and the sites made with drupal are search engine friendly because of this, you will find a plethora of information on developer blogs and such.
if you have a specific how do i? type question it would be much easier to assist you.
If you are looking for a CMS that you don't have to study some, or learn by trial and error. Drupal very well may not be for you. This solely depends on how much time you are willing to invest in learning and understanding drupal, how it works and why it works the way it does.
What I meant was that Drupal
What I meant was that Drupal can certainly be used to build a site like yours but I wasn't sure if you needed it to upgrade because you weren't specific about the features you need and what is missing from your current CMS. If you want to switch CMSs then Drupal is probably your best choice but maybe there is no need for that...if your current one is doing the job you need.
