Misconceptions about the "Flagging: Flag" filter

Flag Vista's "Flagging: Flag" filter filters flaggings, not items. For example...

[x] Bookmarks
[x] Spam
[ ] ToDo

...this will not select nodes that are flagged under both Bookmarks and Spam. To do the latter you'll instead have to pull in the "Node: Flaggings" relationship twice (for each flag) and tick their "require" checkbox.

Who knows, maybe in the future we'll have a "Node: Flag" filter (it can be in an independent module).

A few words about the "Content ID" argument

There's a "Flagging: Content ID" argument. This argument makes it possible to follow a recipe similar to this one to create a "Who's bookmarked this" tab.

Flag's "Flag: Content ID" is seemingly better than Flag Vista's argument in that it allows you to type "%1" in the argument's Title to set the title of the page to e.g. the node's title. Flag Vista's, on the other hand, can't do this, because Flag Vista's flaggings may be of any type, so Flag Vista can't know whether a "123" argument stands for a node ID or a comment ID or a user ID.

If you want the node title there's a simple solution: pull in the "Flagging: Flagged node" relationship and use its "Node: Nid" argument. This solution is more powerful than Flag's because Flag's "Flag: Content ID" argument is in fact weak: it doesn't support summary titles.

There's no "Flagged" filter

Flag has a "Flag: Flagged" filter. Flag Vista doesn't mirror it with a "Flagging: Flagged" filter because its "Flagging: Flag" filter already has this functionality (see the "Is empty (NULL)" / "Is not empty (NOT NULL)" radio buttons). On the other hand, we may decide in the future to implement a "Flagging: Flagged" filter nevertheless in order to make it more friendly as an exposed filter.
