ajross commentedYes, I will definitely be releasing a Drupal 7 version. I've started working on it, but there will be something of a holdup due to the fact that Skinr is not ready for 7 yet. See the Drupal 7 status note at the bottom of the Fusion page for reference: http://drupal.org/project/fusion. Without Skinr, the theme is not very useful. So it will likely not be ready in time for the first official Drupal 7 release, but hopefully it won't be much after. But I'll try to get a beta version up for some early testing as soon as I can.
The other thing slowing me down is that the 6 version was released so recently, I'm still busy fixing the initial issues/bugs in that version. I'm hoping with the latest release it is in good enough shape that I can devote more time to 7 now.
So I apologize for not having it ready sooner, but I do promise that there will be a 7 version sometime in the near future.

Greg Adams commentedI used mix and match for my last drupal site..... and am VERY happy with it.
The first theme I didn't change to the max. I actually only changed very little in the code.
before I used it I was thinking about writing my own (again).
.. I must say now that drupal 7 came out I installed it as a testpage just to see how it is..
Due to the facts that there are only a few modules that work and even less themes it won't be as much fun as drupal 6...for now
I think it's not important when the skinr module and a good version of fusion is available but rather that it "works like a charm".
same with mix and match.
Take your time to make this really great theme as good as it can be for drupal 7.
I guess it might take me about 1 year to actually move to drupal 7. I'm not really happy with its compatibility yet.
guess I'll just keep a testpage for now....
BETA testing??? sure

ajross commentedThe Skinr project page still has a note claiming "The Drupal 7 version is under heavy development. It is not stable, functional, or supported right now", although I see they just put out a new -dev release. And the current D7 version of Fusion still lacks Skinr-related functionality. I have an initial version of Mix and Match almost ready. I'll get out a release in the next few days so please check back soon. But it will not have any Skinr-related features yet, so will be rather limited without having any block styles. But hopefully people can help me test the basic theme features until Skinr has a stable release. Thanks for your patience!

ajross commentedOk folks, the first development release is out. As mentioned, this lacks Skinr support so without block styles I realize you can't do all that much with it. But any help you could give with testing it and the basic configuration/color options would be great. A couple notes about the theme to avoid having these issues posted:
Thanks!

Thanks for all the efforts mate. I will happily test the new RTL version. I will also test the D7 version. I will provide testing results.
I understand that drop-down menu will be provided by Skinr. That is great. The theme should have such a feature.
