Form Module
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there was an easy way to create form fields to email information. I saw the form module listed in modules, as well as CCK and the survey module, but i'm not to sure on which I need.
How easy is the form module to use..? I saw that it said there is no user interface and that it is under heavy construction (and listed some php code) it looked complex. I just wanted to make sure I get what i need before i go installing things. I also saw the form builder module but it looks like its not completed yet (which is cool, I'm happy people have the skills to build these great modules making life easier for all of us).
Perhaps Drupal can do what I want already and i'm just not sure how to do it...
So here's what I want to do:
Create a page, with form fields that users can input information into then email that information to me...
Maybe pass the info to a formmail script outside of Drupal...? I'm not sure of the best approach... Any Advice...?
Thanks,
Lil Chris

I reckon the webform module
I reckon the webform module is your best bet - its pretty easy to use, just set up a new "webform node" with the fields you need - and enter an email address for the responses to be sent too.
Good luck

I didn't even see that module... (the webform one)
I will investigate that one... Thanks
yes, webforms
yes, you are looking for webforms module... can't wait until new versions of this with AJAX drag and drop... I would really like to see webforms extended to provide some form letter type of options... petition and citizenspeak just aren't working for 4.7(unless you use civiccrm as well)....
