vocabulary can not be modified in this way when trying to use calais created vocabulary terms on custom content

I am trying to use the taxonomy vocabulary "Provence and State" and other Calais created Vocabulary on a custom created content type, however everytime I try to select and save terms from Calais created content I receive I get this error : "vocabulary can not be modified in this way".....

But using my other ternms from non calais created vocabulary I dont get this message. Any ideas?
